Small Births

On Thursday I finished story 082808, which I'd been working on for the last month (roughly). It's the story I've most revised most times, has the most ideas and characters--and is probably my longest short too (7,100 words). Friday and this morning I completed the revisions and by mid-day today it was at the post-office, awaiting to meet its fate at the writhing tentacles of the Slush-Gods.

May the slush monster find your manuscript too delectable a meal to be wasted and pass it on to a more discerning palette.

Thanks! It all comes down to gobbling in the end.
