The Only Krebs in My Bach

Bach, who taught Johann Ludwig Krebs the organ, is said to have remarked that his student was "the only crayfish ["Krebs"] in my brook ["Bach"]."

Puns aside, Krebs has left us a fine collection of baroque compositions; his works for organ are held in special regard.

I've found much to enjoy in the pictured selection of Sinfonien & Sonaten and look forward to discovering more by this composer.
