I'd been meaning to post this one for a while, so that by now everyone is familiar with SFF Meta, which attempts the impossible task of collating AND quantifying sf-related book reviews into numerical scores.
After taking a glance at some of my reviews I had concerns that the scores reflected didn't match the overall impression I was trying to convey to readers. I contacted the SFF Meta staff to request a few changes, and they were implemented promptly and cordially by Eric Bouchard. Thanks Eric!
Here are some of my reviews through SFF Meta.
And the below clip, via Scott Edelman on FB, is awesome. I love the anecdote by Barry Malzberg toward the end about the incident with Alfred Bester. "Let it go." "And so I let it go."
