2008 In Review over @ Strange Horizons

Strange Horizons has posted its "2008 In Review" feature, which has a ton of good stuff by a ton of good people.

One of the comments I had in my original summary, my concluding thought, doesn't appear to have made it into the published piece. I'm posting it here:

"The biggest '08 event in the U.S. was not SF, but it was: change not through technology, but through sociology, as Barack Obama became the first African American to be elected President."
