Future Events Such As These...

...will affect you in the future:

Proofed the html galley of my short story "Problems of the Solid State," to be published in Issue 9 of Farrago's Wainscot, which should be going live on January 1st 2009. (Great way to start the year!) From what I can see it promises to be another outstanding issue.

Learned that my most recent story sale, "The Man Made Only of Straight Lines" to magazine Neon, will appear in Issue 19, sometime around March / April of 2009. Issue 18 has just gone live.

The Center for Inquiry just launched its blog, Free Thinking. If you want to support skepticism and free thinking, add it to your bookmarks/feeds. It looks like the content is updating frequently.

Issue 3 of Fruitless Recursion was published recently. It contains some good reviews. I particularly recommend Duncan Lawie on James Blish's canonical book of SF criticism The Issue At Hand.
