Back on January 3rd in a post titled “Collateral Light” I wrote:
“2007 saw me read a disappointing baker's dozen complete books, with parts of others and a few dozen short stories.
2008 goal is to read at least 50 books (easy to remember this arbitrary number since it's the same as the amount of rejections!).”
At the start of this year’s fourth quarter I modified the goal to a more realistic target, 40 books.
I read 41, so the end result was still pretty good and met my revised target. (For a list of titles and comments see here).
I also read about two hundred short stories.
