The Last 0.1

Ran 5.1 miles today. The last 0.1. were probably the sweetest.

Over the last few days I finished the critical essay, at around 6,300 words. After proofing/editing yesterday I submitted it.

Started working on a new story and brainstorming a couple of ideas for new pieces.

Listened to more TTC lectures on the Classics of American Literature, this time focusing on the methods and themes of Robert Frost.

Finished the second season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. There were a few missteps, but it was pretty frakkin funny on the whole. "Ok, assy. And what is all that shit all over your shirt? You been scrounging around, looking for ass?"

Watched Simon Singh's BBC Horizon docu on Fermat's Last Theorem (transcript available here).

And I'm halfway through the next book, Defoe's ROBINSON CRUSOE.

Have you considered self publishing your blog? I found what I think is a new website, www.wwaow.com, WorldWide Alliance of Writers. What you get is 5 printed copies of your book and a listing on their ecommerce web site for $80. Not much is on there yet but nothing like being an early adopter...
