"The desire for oblivion ends up in the oblivion of desire." That's a quote from the article, "The perversions of Michel Foucault" by art critic and social commentator Roger Kimball.
I haven't read much Foucault myself yet (I will in time; it's not high on my list of reading material right now), but this article was a lot of fun -- some great Sunday reading.
